Add Enhanced Content:  The Knowledge Manager page in your accounts serves as your business profile. Fill out as much information as possible here to ensure you stand out, engage users, and are viewed favorably in search. The more content, the better.

Make Frequent Updates:  Prevent your listings from becoming ‘stale’. Updates refresh your listings and signal to search engines that your business information is up-to-date and relevant to searches. We recommend updating your Featured Message at least once a month and your photos every 3 months.

Optimize your Business Description

Set Up Review Notifications:  You can customize your notifications based on different criteria such as star rating and keywords.

Share Positive Reviews

Make your Featured Message Clickable:  You can add a link to any site such as your website, Facebook, or blog. You can also prompt call to actions with links to coupons, contact forms, scheduling pages, buying flows, and more.

Add Holiday Hours:  Fill out your hours for all holidays, even if they’ll be the same as your normal hours. This will ensure that publishers like Google confidently display your business hours on holidays. Otherwise, Google Maps and Search may show an ‘hours may vary’ disclaimer.

Optimize your Categories:  You can add up to 10 and order them based on what’s most relevant.

Enhanced Content Lists:  Create a list to highlight your staff, products, services, events, menus, and more.

The Yext App:  Download our free mobile app to make updates on the go.  This makes it easy to add photos to your listings right from your phone.  (Great for before and after shots and photos from the field!)

Widgets:  Create and install a widget to seamlessly publish information from your Yext account onto your business website.  You can create a widget for each of your Enhanced Content Lists to streamline your information across your listings and website.  You can also create a ‘Social Posts’ widget to easily share updates and positive reviews.
